Cranberry Ketchup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 x 16 ounce.bags Fine
  • 3 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp EACH Grnd allspice
  • 1/2 x TEACH Fresh cranberries -- minced Cinnamon, grnd cloves, Salt and fresh pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in an enameled or possibly stainless steel saucepan.
  2. Bring slowly to a boil, stirring occasionally, to dissove the sugar. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10minutes, or possibly till ketchup is thick. Let the ketchup cold slightly and then spoon into clean, warm jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace on each jar. Wipe the rim of each jar. Cover and let cold to room temperature. Label the jars and refrigeratefor up to three weeks.
