Directions

  1. On high speed of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese till light and fluffy. Add in cookies and beat till well combined. Chill 2 hrs till chilled sufficient to roll. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
  2. Over double boiler, heat chips and shortening till smooth. Dip balls into mix and thoroughly coat. Place on waxed paper to harden.
  3. Store in refrigerator.
  4. Yield: 30 truffles
