Ingredients
- 1 pkt (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 4 c. chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreo), crushed
- 2 c. vanilla baking chips
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
Directions
- On high speed of an electric mixer, beat cream cheese till light and fluffy. Add in cookies and beat till well combined. Chill 2 hrs till chilled sufficient to roll. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
- Over double boiler, heat chips and shortening till smooth. Dip balls into mix and thoroughly coat. Place on waxed paper to harden.
- Store in refrigerator.
- Yield: 30 truffles
