  • 3 c. Fresh or possibly Frzn Berries, such as Strawberr raspberries, blackberries, or possibly blueberries
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/3 c. Butter
  • 1 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Chocolate syrup Vanilla ice cream, (optional)

Directions

  1. Thaw berries if frzn, but don't drain. Combine berries, 1/4 c. sugar, and 2 Tbsp. water; let stand 5 min. In a 9x9x2 inch baking pan heat butter in 350 oven. Stir together flour, 3/4 c. sugar, and baking pwdr; stir in lowfat milk. Remove pan from oven. Pour batter atop butter. Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Spoon undrained berries atop. Bake in a 350 oven about 40 min or possibly till a toothpick comes out clean. Cold slightly. If you like, top each serving with ice cream.
