Ingredients
- 1 pkt German Chocolate Cake Mix -- (any brand)
- 1 c. Minced Nuts -- (any kind)
- 12 ounce Chocolate Chips
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly Margarine -- melted
- 2/3 c. Evaporated Lowfat milk -- divided
- 14 ounce Caramel Candy -- unwrapped squares
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix (dry), melted butter and 1/3 c. of evaporated lowfat milk. Spread 1/2 batter into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 6 min. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top of partially baked batter. Heat caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk and drizzle over chips and nuts. Pour remaining batter on top, and bake for 20 min at 350 degrees F. Cut when cold.
