Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160º.
  2. Prepare a cake spring-form covering the bottom with grease paper.
  3. Melt the chocolate and the butter in a heatproof bowl, over simmering water, let is cool for a couple of minutes.
  4. Beat all the other ingredients in a blender.
  5. add some of the blender misture to the melted chocolate just to bring it to a closer temperatures.
  6. Add all the chocolate mixture to blender and blend it all. (you may have to do it in 2 batches depending on your blender capacity)
  7. Pour the mixture into the cake pan. place it in the oven for about 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle came out dry.
  8. Let it cool in the pan.
  9. Let it out of the spring form when you are ready to serve it.
  10. You can put the cake in the fridge over night but I prefer the taste room temperature.
  11. For the topping:
  12. Just melt the chocolate with the cream in low heat.
  13. Let it cool a bit and pour over the cake just before serving it.
