Ingredients

  • 1 bag frzn unsweetened boysenberries - (16 thawed
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. to 2 brandy (optional)

Directions

  1. Puree all ingredients in processor. Strain into medium bowl, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Cover and chill till cool. (Can be made 2 days ahead. Keep refrigerated.)
  2. This recipe yields about 2 c..
  3. Comments: This sauce accompanies "Ginger, Fig And Cranberry Semifreddo" (see recipe). It's also great drizzled over vanilla ice cream.
