Beef Misono Recipe

I dare you to search online and look for any beef misono dishes posted by a Japanese blogger, I bet you will not find one and most of the ones you will see are copycat Tokyo Tokyo recipes that were inspired by a popualar Japanese fast food chain in the Philippines. The only closest thing to a real Japanese Misono is a teppanyaki restaurant in Kobe that was established during the 1940’s. Misono in Japan is a teppanyaki steakhouse that serves high quality Kobe beef which are selected from A4 & A5 ranked Japanese black cattle breed and I guess this became the inspiration of the ones who first established the Tokyo Tokyo restaurant hence they named one of their popular dishes as such.
