Ingredients
- 1 c. Shortening
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 3/4 c. Flour
- 2 tsp Cream of tartar
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt Cinnamon sugar
Directions
- Mix shortening, sugar and Large eggs together thoroughly. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Stir the two mixtures together. roll into ball the size of walnuts. dip in mix of equal parts cinnamon and sugar. place two inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. bake till lightly browned but still soft (8 - 10 min) at 400 degrees farenheit.
