Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Shortening
- 3/4 c. Light Brown Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 3/4 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 3/4 c. Coconut
- 2 tsp Cream Of Tartar Any Flavor Jam Or possibly Jelly
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar together. Add in egg and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add in. Add in vanilla, and drop by tsp.- full onto ungreased cookie sheet. With your finger or possibly a spoon, make an indentation in the center of the cookie ball and fill with jam or possibly jelly. Sprinkle coconut over all and bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes.
- NOTES :Makes about 24 cookie
