  • 1 pound lean grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 ounce.) Italian style stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cans (13 3/4 fl. ounce.) beef broth
  • 1 can (17 ounce.) mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 c. uncooked med. egg noodles
  • 1/2 c. barley
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Directions

  1. In a large pot, brown meat with onion. Cook till onion is tender; drain. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer till barley is cooked. Makes about 8 servings.
