Tasty marinade that can be used as a general one for chicken, such as tacos, fajitas, shish kebobs, or anywhere where a little heat is welcome.

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • juice of 2 lemons or limes
  • 1 tbs. Tex-Mex Diablo Dust or taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp. cumin powder
  • 1 tsp. dry oregano, Mexican preferred
  • 1/2 tsp. Hungarian paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 tbs. cilantro leaves
  • salt to taste
  • Marinade is sufficient for 4 large chicken breasts.

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients is a plastic baggie. Add chicken and refrigerate.
  2. Remove chicken for grilling.
  3. Discard marinade.
