  • 12 x Large Mushrooms
  • 1 x Env. Vegetable Soup Mix
  • 6 ounce Frzn Crab Meat *
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream or possibly Plain Yogurt
  • 3 tsp Plain Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Snipped Fresh Dill **
  • 3 x Dashes Warm Pepper Sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Butter Or possibly Margarine, Melted
  •     Substitution: 1 t Dry Dill Weed. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Directions

  1. Remove and finely chop mushroom stems. In medium bowl, combine minced mushroom stems, vegetable recipe soup mix, crabmeat, lowfat sour cream or possibly plain yougurt, bread crumbs, dill, warm pepper sauce, and pepper. Set aside. On lightly greased baking sheet, arrange mushroom caps; stuff with crabmeat mix, then brush with butter. Bake 15 min or possibly till tender.
  2. Makesabout 12 appetizers. MAKE AHEAD DIRECTIONS; Mushrooms can be partially prepared up to 1 day ahead.
  3. Simply prepare and stuff as above. Cover and chill. To serve, brush with butter then bake as above.
