Wrap bacon around water chestnuts and put toothpick in to hold. Bake in 9 x 9 dish at 350 degrees for 30 min. Drain. Mix ketchup and sugar together and drizzle over bacon and water chestnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for another 20 min. Optional: can be prepared ahead but cook before serving.
