Directions

  1. Heat oil over medium heat in large, heavy non-aluminum saucepan. Stir in onions and garlic; saute/fry 10 to 12 min, stirring occasionally, till tender. Add in tomatoes, Tabasco sauce, salt, cilantro and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 30 min till slightly thickened.
  2. Place warm cooked pasta on heated serving platter; top with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
