My grandfather, Johann Lamprecht, was the chef at the Warwick who created this dish. It is named after the proprietor of the Hotel, Geoge Lamaze.

As a young girl, my Dad often took us to eat at the Warwick Hotel, and one of my favorite things was teh shrimp cocktail with Lamaze sauce. It's reminds me of thousand island dressing, but very creamy. Great with shrimp! Does any one know where the name came from?
