  • 6 x pork loin chops - (to 8)
  • 2 Tbsp. veg. oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup - (10 3/4 ounce)
  • 1/4 c. chicken broth
  • 1/4 c. country Dijon-Style Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme crushed
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  •     (or possibly 1/4 tspn garlic pwdr)
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 6 med potatoes cut thin slices
  • 1 x onion sliced

Directions

  1. In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in warm oil. Drain off fat.
  2. In any size crockpot, mix cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, mustard, thyme, garlic and pepper. Add in potatoes and onion, stirring to coat. Place browned pork chops on top of potato mix.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs or possibly on HIGH for 4 to 5 hrs.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
