Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Confectioners' sugar

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour
Stir in the pecans
Shape the rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 2 1/2 inch logs
Shape into crescents
Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets
Bake at 325 for 20-22 minutes or until set and the bottoms are lightly browned
Let stand for 2-3 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely
Dust with confectioners' sugar before servings
