these are small round very soft biscuits.. they use cashew powder to enhance the flavour..
the fat used in here is ghee.. or clarified butter.. u can use same quantity of metled white unsalted butter..

Directions

  1. in a hand mixer blend the ghee/ butter with sugar till light.
  2. add soda and cashew powder to the flour and mix well.
  3. add the dry ingridients into wet.
  4. it will make a very soft crumbly dough.
  5. make small rounded balls the size of an icecream scoop.
  6. slightly flatten the balls and make a cross with a sharp knife.
  7. bake at 180 deg centigrate for 12-15 minutes.
  8. they will appear soft but will set once cooled.
