Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour (1 1/2 c. plain, 1 1/2 self-rising)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 T flour
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
Directions
- For Cake: Cream butter and sugar, add in large eggs. Add in flour and lowfat milk alternately. Mix well. Add in vanilla. Use 3 round cake pans, greased and lightly floured. Bake 25 to 30 min at 350 degrees.Filling: Place all ingredients in the top of a double boiler. Cook to desired thickness and spread between cake layers and on top when cake is cool.
