Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. extra virgin olive oil (must use extra virgin olive oil)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. baking Pwdr
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon (grated)
  • 2 Tbsp. orange (grated)
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 2 lb bag of powdered sugar Lowfat milk or possibly water
  • 1 jar non-parells candy sprinkles

Directions

  1. Mix all dough ingredients together till cookie dough is not sticky- keep adding flour as needed. Preheat oven at 325 degrees lightly grease cookie sheet. Cut cookies dough into strips and roll into snake-like shapes, form into turban-like shape and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake till lightly browned (about 10-12 minutes). Let cookie cold completely. While cookies are cooling mix icing by pouring powdered sugar and lowfat milk or possibly water into a bowl. Mix till smooth, but not too thin or possibly thick. Pour icing over cookies and spinkle with candy.
  2. Makes about 4 dozen great for Christmas parties.
