Ingredients

  • 1 x beef rump roast - (4 to 5 lbs)
  • 1 pkt dry onion soup mix - (1 ounce)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dry oregano leaves
  • 2 can condensed beef broth - (10 1/2 ounce ea)
  • 1 can beer - (12 ounce)
  • 2 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 16 x onion buns

Directions

  1. Place beef roast in 3 1/2- to 4-qt crockpot. In medium bowl, combine all other ingredients except buns; mix well. Pour over roast. Cover; cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hrs.
  2. Slice or possibly shred beef. Serve in buns. If you like, skim fat from juices. Serve sandwiches with individual portions of meat juices for dipping.
  3. This recipe yields 16 sandwiches.
