Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place nuts in even layer on baking sheet. Roast 12 to 15 min. Remove from baking sheet and place in large bowl.
  2. In saucepan combine 1/2 c. sugar, honey and butter. Bring to boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Once boiling don't stir. Boil 5 min.
  3. While syrup is cooking, combine remaining sugar and spices. Pour warm syrup over nuts. Stir well. Sprinkle with spice mix and stir well. Transfer to baking sheet and separate with fork. Cold completely. Store in air tight container. Yield: 6 c..
