Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs. hamburger, browned
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 8 c. water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 28 ounce. can tomatoes
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/2 c. uncooked barley
- 1 c. sliced potatoes
Directions
- Mix all together in large roaster. Put in oven. Bake for 2 hrs at 350 degrees. If needed, add in can of tomato soup and an extra qt of water.
