  2. Put the broth and the peas in a large bowl. Cover and cook on high for 10 min. Reserve 1/3 of the peas. Puree the remaining peas in a blender or possibly by passing through a sieve. Return the pureed peas and the reserved peas to a bowl. Stir in the cream, sugar, salt and pepper. Dice the ham and add in. Cook on high for 5 min, then serve warm.
