Fried Green Tomatoes with Goat Cheese and Sage Total time: 25 minutes Ingredients: 2 – 3 large green (unripe) tomatoes 3oz (90gr) goat cheese (semi-soft, with rind) 6 fresh sage leaves 1 egg 1/4 cup flour 1/3 cup corn meal (polenta) 1 tbs olive oil Instructions: Cut 6 1/3 – 1/2″ (1cm) thick tomato slices. Cut 6 slices from goat cheese – one for each tomato Get 3 flattish bowls or plates.  Put flour in one, corn meal in one and the egg, beaten, in the last. Put a large, nonstick skillet on medium – medium high heat.  Add oil and heat. With your fingers (or a tongs) pick up one tomato slice, dip both sides in flour, then egg, then corn meal and place in skillet. Fry 6 – 8 minutes or until brown, turn with spatula and fry for 6 minutes longer.…
