Fresh Strawberry Lime & Basil Jam Recipe

Super delicious with many uses. Will store in refrigerator 2 weeks.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled, sliced
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • one fresh lime, juice
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. In a saucepan add strawberries and sugar, stir well on medium heat, add lime juice and stir, reduce heat to low and cook 15 minutes.
  2. Add chopped basil and fold into jam. Allow to cool, transfer to airtight clean jars (I use 4-6 ounce mason jars).
  3. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  4. We love this on freshly baked corn bread muffins or biscuits!
