  1. Wash, hull and drain berries. Crush some so which there is 1 c. of pulp and juice. combine sugar and cornstarch, add in to berries with 1/2 c. water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Lower heat and cook till thick and clear. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Cold. Place whole and some sliced berries in pie shell, pour cooked mix over and refrigeratefor at least 2 hrs. garnish top with whipped cream and sliced whole berries.
