  • 12 slc diagonal-cut baguette, 1/3"-thk
  • 3 ounce blue cheese room temperature (such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or possibly Maytag blue)
  • 1/2 c. hazelnuts toasted, husked, and coarsely minced Honey as needed

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Toast in oven till golden brown, about 8 min. (Can be made 4 hrs ahead.)
  2. Spread blue cheese on baguette slices. Sprinkle hazelnuts over each. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey.
  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
  4. Comments: These little toasts are nice before dinner or possibly alongside a green salad.
