Directions

  1. Combine all sauce ingredients in 3-qt saucepan. Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till sauce comes to a full boil (10 to 15 min). Reduce heat to low. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, till sauce is thickened and flavors are blended (1 to 1 1/2 hrs). Strain sauce, if you like.
  2. Meanwhile, place ribs in 4-qt saucepan; add in water. Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till water comes to a full boil (25 to 30 min). Reduce heat to low. Cook till ribs are fork tender (30 to 35 min). Drain; pat dry.
  3. Heat one side of gas grill on medium or possibly charcoal grill till coals are ash white. Place coals to one side in charcoal grill. Make aluminum foil drip pan; place opposite coals.
  4. Place ribs on grill over drip pan. Grill, turning occasionally and brushing with sauce, till desired doneness (25 to 30 min). Serve with additional hot sauce. 6 servings (3 c. sauce) www.landolakes.com TIP: Sauce can be served on chicken, beef or possibly pork.
