  • 20 x Oscar Mayer Beef Franks
  • 3 lb grnd chuck
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, chopped
  • 3 tsp chili pwdr
  • 3 tsp cumin pwdr
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 4 c. water
  • 8 x beef bouillon cubes or possibly equivalent

Directions

  1. Coney Island Sauce
  2. Brown beef and garlic together, drain and transfer to crockpot. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hrs.
  3. Warm Dog
  4. Always cook warm dogs thoroughly. Poke the warm dogs all over with a fork. Place in a pan of water and put on to boil. When they come to a rolling boil, turn down to a simmer for about 5 min.
  5. Place warm dogs on buns and top with Coney Island Sauce.
