  • Shredded cabbage Thinly sliced onion Shredded daikon or possibly red radish Roasted unsalted peanuts, coarsely minced Peanut oil Vinegar Minced cilantro Minced fresh green chiles to taste (mostly I use Jalapenos, Habs would be fine)

  1. I've been making this one for years. Quantities and ingredients may vary according to taste, except for the peanut oil, that kind of holds the whole thing together:Another variation is to skip the peanut oil and use the Thai mix of lime juice, fish sauce and sugar.
