- Shredded cabbage Thinly sliced onion Shredded daikon or possibly red radish Roasted unsalted peanuts, coarsely minced Peanut oil Vinegar Minced cilantro Minced fresh green chiles to taste (mostly I use Jalapenos, Habs would be fine)

- I've been making this one for years. Quantities and ingredients may vary according to taste, except for the peanut oil, that kind of holds the whole thing together:Another variation is to skip the peanut oil and use the Thai mix of lime juice, fish sauce and sugar.
