  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In large mixer bowl, stir together butter, brown sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla; lend in flour and salt. Press mix onto bottom of prepared pan.
  2. Bake 25 to 30 min or possibly till lightly browned.
  3. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle chocolate chunks on crust. Let stand till softened, about 5 min; spread proportionately over crust.
  4. Sprinkle pecans over top. Cold completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. about 36 bars.
