Chili With Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean grnd beef
  • 1 sm Green pepper, minced
  • 1 pkt (1.75 ounce) Schilling Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 can (15.25 ounce) kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can (15 ounce) Contadina tomato sauce
  • 1 can (7 ounce) Green Giant whole kernal corn, liquid removed
  • 2 c. Minute Original Rice, uncooked

Directions

  1. Cook and stir meat, pepper and seasoning fold in large skillet on medium-high heat till meat is browned. Stir in water, beans and tomato sauce. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally. Stir in corn. Return to boil. Stir in rice, cover.
  2. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. Stir. Serve with shredded cheese, minced onions, lowfat sour cream and salsa if you like.
  3. Makes 6 servings. Recipefrom Minute Rice.
