Ingredients
- 1 (2 1/2-3 lb.) fryer, cut into serving pcs
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 med. onion, sliced
- 1/2 c. frzn orange juice concentrate
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 teaspoon sherry
- Chopped garlic, optional
Directions
- Brown chicken pcs under the broiler. Place in casserole. Sprinkle with paprika. Arrange onion slices over chicken. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken and onions. Cover and simmer till chicken is tender, about 35-40 min.
