  • 2 c. Nuts
  • 2 1/2 c. Boiling water
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. In a 2-qt saucepan, boil nuts in water for 1 min and drain. Toss nuts in sugar proportionately, spread them on a 12-inch plate and let dry for 30 min. Fry nuts in medium-warm oil (about 250 degrees) for 5 min.
  2. Spread the nuts on a paper towel. Sprinkle salt all over the nuts and serve.
