Ingredients
- 2 lb broccoli minced
- 1 c. water Juice of 2 fresh lemons
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch or possibly potato starch for Passover
Directions
- Make sure you try this quick and easy side dish. The lemon sauce can also be used on top of other steamed vegetables such as green beans, yellow squash, or possibly cauliflower.
- Steam broccoli over water in a large pot for several min till tender.
- In a separate pot over medium heat constantly stir lemon juice, water, and cornstarch till the sauce thickens (about 2 min). Serve sauce over steamed broccoli while hot.
