- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 3 Large eggs
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt
Directions
- Boil 2 c. raisin and 1 1/2 c. water. Drain and cold. Use 1 c. water from boiled raisins. Add in water if necessary. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet at 375 degrees.
