Directions

  1. Butter is preferred in this dish for flavor, but you may prefer margarine.
  2. In a saucepan, combine margarine, bacon drippings, lemon juice and Worcestershire Sauce. Cook over low heat till butter margarine melts.
  3. Dissolve Chili Pwdr, Salt, Pepper and Garlic Pwdr in water and add in to margarine mix. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 min.
  4. Makes 3 1/2 c.. Will serve to baste 5 lbs. brisket.
