  • 1 pkt (small) Navy (white) beans
  • 1/2 c. Catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. White sugar Brown sugar to taste, start with 3/4 c. and add in according to your taste
  • 1/2 c. Molasses (Grandma Brand desirable)
  • 1 tsp Tabasco sauce, optional
  • 1 Tbsp. Coleman mustard
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 1/2 lb Salt pork, cut into small cubes or possibly thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Soak 1 small package navy (white) beans overnight in water. Rinse beans with cool water. Add in sufficient water to cover beans. Simmer till soft but beans are still whole. Save water.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients. Add in to beans with salt pork and onion with water from beans. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 to 2-1/2 hrs. Check beans to determine if liquid has evaporated. Add in water as needed to prevent beans from burning.
  3. SOAK BEANS OVERNIGHT
