Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. Butter / margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. Onion, finely minced
  • 6 slc Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 x 8-ounce cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients.
  2. Unroll crescent rolls, and separate into 8 rectangles; firmly press diagonal perforations to seal.
  3. Spread butter mix proportionately over dough. Roll up each rectangle, beginning with short side; healthy pinch seam to seal. Cut each into 4 slices.
  4. Place pinwheels on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly.
  5. Bake at 375F for 15 min or possibly till golden brown.
  6. Yield: 32 appetizers.
  7. SL Note: To freeze, bake Bacon-Onion Appetizers, 10 min or possibly till lightly browned; cold and freeze up to 3 months. To serve, thaw and place on a baking sheet; bake at 375F for 5 min.
