  • 1 x Yellow onion peeled, sliced thin
  • 3 x Cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. White vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Celery, fennel, or possibly mustard seed Salt as desired

Directions

  1. Place onion and cucumber in a bowl. In a saucepan, combine salt (if you like), water, vinegar and sugar, heating slightly to dissolve sugar. Add in seeds. Pour over onion and cucumber. Refrigerateand serve.
  2. Serves 3.
