Ingredients

21/2 stk butter
3 c. sugar
5 x Large eggs
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3 c. all-purpose flour
7 ounce 7-Up

Directions

Cream butter with sugar; add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in lemon juice; add in flour and 7-Up alternately, beating after each addition.
Bake in a greased and floured tubepan at 300 degrees F for 1 1/2 hrs, or possibly till cake tests done.
Serve with whipped cream and strawberries
