About me
Last year I discovered the amazing health benefits of a Low-Carb Lifestyle. I have learned how to replace white flour, sugar and high carbohydrate foods with healthy alternatives. As a result I have lost 21 pounds and have kept it off, I feel better than ever. Creating new Low Carb/Low-Sugar recipes and sharing them with my family and friends has become my passion! My goal is to transform high carb recipes into amazing, healthy low-carb meals. I also created a blog so I could share my recipes with other Low-Carbers and learn all I can about this new lifestyle. My husband and I are the proud parents of three amazing kids and have a beautiful eight month old granddaughter. I stay very busy creating new recipes for my family, because they really love to eat! They have been my willing taste testers and the best food critics, thanks guys! I hope you try my recipes and see how wonderfully delicious Low-Carb cooking can be. :)
Cooking Influences
My cooking is inspired by my mother. She is a wonderful cook and taught me all of the cooking basics. She now has Type 2 Diabetes, which is why I looked into healthier eating habits. I pass on to her the all of the healthy alternatives I discover along the way. Love you Mom!

- July 31, 2011Hi thanks for taking a look at my recipes:) I made the low carb baking mix myself, I have it posted as one of my recipes on this site and my blog. It can be expensive to buy it in health food stores. I buy most of the ingredients at my local Costco or Sam's Club. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask :)
