Ingredients
- 1 lb sweet butter
- 1 c. sugar, plus
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. espresso, plus
- 2 Tbsp. espresso
- 12 ounce bittersweet, Or possibly
- 12 ounce semi-sweet chocolate
- 4 ounce unsweetened chocolate
- 8 lrg Large eggs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x3-inch spring-form pan with aluminum foil and grease and flour generously. Set aside.
- In saucepan, over low heat, heat together sweet butter, sugar, and coffee.
- Whisk ingredients together. Add in chocolate and continue to stir till melted.
- Remove from heat and add in the Large eggs, slightly beaten. Whisk together and turn into prepared pan.
- Bake for 50 to 55 min. Cake is done when top has a crust and is dry to the touch. May be eaten as soon as it is cold, or possibly chill 12 to 14 hrs.
