  • INGREDIENTS
  • Basmati rice – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 (medium sized) (chopped finely)
  • Tomatoes – 2 (chopped finely)
  • Capsicum – 1 (chopped finely)
  • Carrot – 1 (Boiled and chopped )
  • Green peas – 1/2 cup (boiled)
  • Butter or oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin seeds or jeera – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon or as required
  • Pav bhaji masala – 2 teaspoons
  • Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
  • Water – 3 and 1/2 to 4 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Tawa pulao is best served hot or warm. It can also be prepared with leftover rice
