Ingredients
- 1/4 cup warm water (100 degrees temperature)
- 1/2 package (1 + 1/8 tsp) active dry yeast
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup warm milk (100 degrees temperature)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine (at room temperature)
- For Sugar Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp milk (use water for transparent glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp softened butter

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn't%20know%20that%20making%20doughnuts%20at%20home%20were%20so%20easy.%20I%20looked%20up%202-3%20websites%20and%20liked%20one%20video%20at%20youtube%20about%20the%20doughnuts%20recipe.%20I%20tweaked%20the%20recipe%20just%20a%20little%20bit%20and%20made%20these.%20Now%20we%20don't%20need%20to%20go%20to%20Dunkin%20Doughnuts%20anymore,%20we%20can%20make%20better%20doughnuts%20right%20here%20at%20our%20home%20and%20so%20can%20you%20with%20this%20super%20easy%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20In%20the%20bowl%20of%20your%20electric%20mixer,%20add%201/4%20cup%20of%20warm%20water,%202%20tbsp%20sugar%20and%20yeast.%20Let%20it%20sit%20for%2010%20minutes.%20The%20water%20will%20become%20frothy%20and%20that%20ensures%20that%20yeast%20is%20active.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Stir%20in%20the%20lightly%20beaten%20egg,%20butter%20and%20warm%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Add%20the%20all%20purpose%20flour%20and%20knead%20using%20the%20spiral%20dough%20hook.%20Knead%20until%20the%20dough%20starts%20to%20clean%20the%20sides%20of%20the%20bowl%20and%20is%20very%20soft%20and%20elastic.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Add%20the%20dough%20to%20a%20greased%20bowl,%20cover%20and%20leave%20for%201%20hour%20or%20until%20dough%20is%20doubled%20in%20bulk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Punch%20down%20the%20dough%20and%20roll%20it%20to%20a%20large%20rectangle%20on%20a%20floured%20surface.%20Using%20doughnut%20cutter%20or%20cookie%20cutter%20or%20the%20bottle%20lids%20(that's%20what%20I%20used)%20cut%20the%20doughnut%20rounds%20and%20holes%20(using%20smaller%20sauce%20bottle%20cover%20if%20you%20are%20using%20lids)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20Collect%20the%20scraps,%20roll%20it%20out%20again%20and%20cut%20more%20doughnut%20rounds%20until%20all%20of%20the%20dough%20is%20used%20up.%20I%20ended%20up%20with%2014%20doughnuts.%20Leave%20them%20again%20for%2030%20minutes%20to%20puff%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7.%20Heat%20oil%20in%20a%20pan.%20You%20need%20about%201/2%20inch%20of%20oil%20not%20much.%20Fry%20doughnuts%20until%20light%20and%20evenly%20browned%20from%20both%20sides.%20Fry%20all%20of%20them%20and%20keep%20on%20a%20paper%20towel%20to%20remove%20excess%20oil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20Glaze%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Put%20all%20the%20ingredients%20together%20in%20a%20bowl%20and%20mix%20for%20about%203-4%20minutes.%20It%20will%20be%20smooth%20and%20have%20a%20shiny%20glaze.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20dip%20doughnuts%20in%20the%20glaze%20from%20both%20sides%20and%20keep%20in%20a%20tray.%20The%20sugar%20syrup%20will%20settle%20down%20in%20a%20few%20minutes.%20Enjoy%20the%20super%20soft,%20super%20delicious%20and%20super%20easy%20(Too%20much%20super?%20:)%20)%20SUPER%20doughnuts!!%20:D%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
