- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- coarse salt for topping (I used Maldon sea salt flakes)
