Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. shortening Or possibly butter
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 c. walnuts
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
Directions
- Boil together first 8 ingredients for 10 min. When cold, add in last 4 ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake 10 min at 350 degrees.
