  • 1 quantity shortcrust pastry
  • 1 kg cubed pumpkin
  • 2 – 200 grms canned tuna; drained
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 tablespoons chopped black olives
  • 1 tablespoon toasted pine nuts
  • 700 g liquidy tomato sauce
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • 3/4 cups long-grain rice

Directions

  1. Prepare a deep dish , line with pastry allowing some
  2. overhang.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together with the prepared tomato sauce, pour in the pastry lined dish.
  4. Roll out the pastry to make a lid, brush the edges with water and lay the pastry on top.
  5. Prick the pastry with a fork and bake for 1 hour in a preheated
  6. 180º c.oven.
