- 12 x Apples, Peeled Cored
- 8 ounce Butter
- 10 ounce Calvados
- 15 fl ounce Ounce Cider, Dry
- 3 Tbsp. Double Cream
Directions
- 1. Brown chicken and apples in flameproof casserole with 3.5 ozs butter 2. flame with calvados3.pour in cider and seasoning, simmer 20 mins 4. remove apples when tender5. reduce liquid by 3/4 whisk in butter, add in more calvados if necessary and season 6. add in cream, pour over chicken and apples
